Yuna's Decision - Calm Lands Piano
This is the first piece I learned just for this project.
Everything else I've uploaded so far, I already knew how to play or learned a while ago just because I liked it. A few other pieces, mostly other people's arrangements of pieces I liked, I did learn with the intent of recording them but then decided against it. Yuna's Decision, I suppose, is the first piece I've successfully learned from scratch (ish) since I started my channel.
The first time I got a successful recording, I was playing quite freely and much faster than it is in this version. When I went back to edit it, it ended up sounding rushed, so I re-recorded it quite a bit slower. As it turns out, I much prefer it at this pace.
Still, out of 100 attempts at YouTube videos, I'm only up to number 5. Just 95 more to go, then...
It's nowhere near as difficult as some of the pieces I'd like to record and perform. I'm looking forward to continuing.
